LinguaAI is an AI assistant that lives in your menubar and works across your Apple devices. To use it, you'll need API keys from your chosen AI providers.
Getting Started: LinguaAI uses a "Bring Your Own Key" model. You provide your own API keys from providers like Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Mistral. This ensures complete privacy, cost control, and flexibility.

The fastest way to use LinguaAI is with keyboard shortcuts:
Configure shortcuts and their assigned prompts in LinguaAI settings. There are no default shortcuts—you create the ones that work for your workflow.
Click the LinguaAI icon in your menubar to access the full chat interface, manage prompts, switch models, and configure settings.
Running Windows through Parallels or another VM? Three-key shortcuts may not trigger when the VM is in focus.
Solution: Use two-key shortcuts instead. For example, use ⌃T instead of ⌃⌥T. Configure this in Settings → Shortcuts.
Ensure your two-key combinations don't conflict with shortcuts in your Windows applications like Trados or MemoQ.

Open LinguaAI on your iPhone for a full-featured chat interface with access to your entire prompt library, synced via iCloud.
Raise your wrist, open LinguaAI, and ask your question. Quick AI access without pulling out your phone—perfect for lookups, translations, or brief queries.
Save frequently used prompts for quick access across all devices. Your prompt library syncs via iCloud.

Adjust temperature to control response creativity:
For supported models (Claude and GPT-5), enable prompt caching to reduce costs and speed up responses.
Enable extended thinking mode for complex problems requiring deeper analysis.
Grant LinguaAI access to web search for queries requiring real-time information.
Privacy & Security: Your data never passes through intermediary servers. API keys are stored in your device's keychain. All AI requests go directly from your device to the provider. LinguaAI cannot access your prompts, conversations, or API keys.
