Three ways to use The Verdict. Cinema tracks theatrical releases. Streaming covers everything you watch at home, both movies and shows, stored separately. Board is your shared space for links, photos, and discussion. Poster collage background adapts to your top-rated titles. Real-time multi-user sync via CloudKit shared database, works offline and syncs when connected.
Your group's cinema diary. Add movies via TMDB search with poster, year, genre, director, and cast. Four sort orders: Recently Added, A-Z, Highest Rated, and Release Year. Filter by year and genre from the sidebar. Each row shows poster thumbnail, title, genres, overall and genre rank, average score, and rating count. Color-coded rating glow from blue (low) to coral (high).
The definitive group ranking. Every title sorted by average score, highest first. Gold, silver, and bronze badges for the top 3. Requires a minimum of 2 ratings to appear. Filterable by year and genre. Cinema and Streaming are ranked separately. Rankings update live as new ratings come in. Settles any "what was better" debate instantly.
Score each title from 1.0 to 10.0 with decimal precision via a numerical keypad. Other group members' ratings stay blurred until you've submitted yours, so nobody influences anyone else's opinion. Once you rate, all scores reveal and the group average updates. Editable anytime without re-blurring. Optional text comments per person per title with a spoiler toggle that blurs the comment until tapped.
AI-powered analysis of your group's viewing habits powered by Claude Haiku. Cinema and Streaming analyzed separately. Breaks down genre preferences, rating tendencies (harsh vs generous raters), agreement and disagreement patterns between members, and interesting outliers. Regenerate on demand as your collection grows. Requires an Anthropic API key.

Share links with auto-fetching previews (OpenGraph, Twitter Cards, Reddit API fallback), upload photos with a full viewer and pinch-to-zoom, or post text updates. Like system with heart toggle. Nested comments on every post. Share card generation creates branded images with posters for social sharing. Invite and remove group members via CloudKit.
